System Components
The system is composed of a pump unit consisting in an oil tank, a pump controlled by an electric engine, a group of valves for the regulation of the upward and downward speed of the lift, a cylinder with a piston inside it, linked to the pump unit by a flexible or a rigid pipe, standing the pressure.
Way of working
On the ascent impulse, the electric engine makes the pump turn and it channels the oil in pressure from the pump unit’s tank into the cylinder through the pipe. The piston inside the cylinder goes upward, transmitting directly or indirectly the motion to the car, provoking the ascent of the lift.
On the descent impulse, the valve is open and the lift’s weight makes the oil go out of the cylinder into the pump unit’s tank. During this operation the electric engine is not feeded therefore it does not work.
